Sophia Sanderson

Pilates Instructor & Team Coordinator

 

Sophia is a dedicated member of the Elite Movement team, combining her passion for movement with a strong background in strength training and Pilates. As a competitive Olympic weightlifter, she brings a deep understanding of body mechanics, mobility, and performance into her Pilates teaching.

Sophia offers 1:1 Mat and Reformer Pilates sessions designed to build strength, improve mobility, and support clients in moving with greater control and confidence. Her sessions are tailored to each individual, whether their goal is recovery, improved posture, or enhanced athletic performance.

Before joining Elite Movement, Sophia spent 10 years working in Administrative, Personal Assistant and Secretarial roles. She has successfully transferred these skills to her role as Team Coordinator alongside coaching, managing the clinic’s admin and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

While she originally trained as a Personal Trainer, Sophia chose to focus on Pilates at Elite Movement, combining her expertise in movement with her love for helping clients improve their strength, mobility, and overall wellbeing.
